Traveling Diesel Field Technician / Mechanic
Full Time Posted Mar, 25Horizontal Directional Drilling company seeking a highly motivated Diesel Tech / mechanically inclined jack-of-all-trades to join our crew.
This is a hands-on field position, working alongside our drill crews maintaining and repairing Ditch Witch, Vermeer, and Caterpillar equipment on job sites across the western United States. If you enjoy problem solving, working outdoors, and being part of a hardworking crew, this is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience.
We operate as a team, and everyone jumps in where needed to keep the job moving. The right candidate will be resourceful, dependable, and willing to help wherever the crew needs it.
The Job
- Work on the road alongside drill crews
- Perform field repairs and preventative maintenance on all fleet equipment
- Schedule: 6 days per week
- Be part of a team-oriented, hands-on work environment
What We’re Looking For
- Highly motivated and mechanically inclined
- Resourceful problem solver with the ability to think on your feet
- Willing to jump in wherever needed to support the crew
- Comfortable working outdoors and traveling regularly
- CDL preferred, but not required
