Looking for a hands-on summer opportunity? Active Heating is hiring a Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Helper to support our installation team on job sites throughout the Watertown area, with occasional travel opportunities.
This is a great position for students or anyone interested in exploring a career in the trades while gaining real-world experience in the HVAC industry.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with installation of commercial HVAC ductwork (sheet metal)
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment throughout job sites
- Support lead installers with holding, sealing, and taping ductwork
- Unbox equipment and help stage materials for installation
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Follow all company safety guidelines and PPE requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or lifts
- Basic hand tool knowledge is a plus
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
- Team-first attitude and willingness to learn
- Commitment to safety on every job site
Pay & Schedule
- $17–$18/hour + overtime opportunities
- Full-Time | Summer Seasonal
- Based in Watertown, SD with some travel to job sites
