ModaLane –Leadership Opportunity: Special Occasions Coordinator

ModaLane is a fast-growing bridal and formalwear boutique based in Aberdeen, SD, focused on creating an elevated, personalized experience for every client who walks through our doors.

We are anticipating an upcoming opportunity for a Special Occasions Coordinator—a key leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations of the store while leading our special occasions categories, including tuxedo rentals, bridesmaids, prom, mothers, and more.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and is excited to take ownership of both the customer experience and team support throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day flow of the store, including managing appointments, walk-ins, and overall client experience
• Handle daily communication including phone calls, text, and appointment requests
• Oversee and manage the full communication process for special occasions clients—from initial inquiry through purchase—ensuring timely responses, follow-through, and an exceptional experience
• Review and maintain communication standards daily to ensure consistency and quality across all client touchpoints
• Receive handoff from bridal stylists after a bride purchases her gown and guide her through coordinating the full wedding look (tuxedo, bridesmaids, mothers, etc.)
• Lead appointments and ensure a seamless, high-touch client experience from start to finish
• Train and support team members in special occasions categories
• Oversee order management, receiving, and follow-up to ensure accuracy and completion
• Play an active role in the leadership team, supporting store operations and growth initiatives

• Strong attention to detail and follow-through in client communication
• Interest in fashion, events, or the wedding industry is a plus
