Registered Dental Assistant

Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials.
- Take dental X-rays
- Manage patient records efficiently while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Conduct vital signs assessments and monitor patient comfort throughout procedures
- Support front desk operations by performing dental receptionist duties, including appointment scheduling and patient check-in/out processes
- Maintain accurate dental documentation, records, and coding to ensure seamless communication.
- Perform Prophylaxis
- Performing household duties such as wiping down beds, taking out garbages, sterilizing equipment, stocking and more
Experience
- Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment
- Hands-on knowledge of dental terminology.
- Proficiency with dental software managing dental records and documentation
- Experience in pediatric dentistry along with familiarity with pediatric-specific procedures and patient care approaches
- Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely and accurately while adhering to radiation safety standards
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and dental coding to ensure precise documentation
- Excellent chairside assisting skills to maximize efficiency and patient comfort
