Building Blocks Therapy, Inc. is looking for a passionate Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our innovative team in Rapid City. This isn't your typical clinic-based role. You’ll be the "traveling expert," bringing essential school-based services to rural districts across Western South Dakota.

The Role: Clinical Impact on the Move

As a school-based OT, you will be the bridge between a child’s developmental needs and their educational success. Your "office" changes with the scenery, but your mission remains the same: helping kids succeed in their "job" of being a student.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rural School-Based Services: Provide direct therapy within rural school districts, focusing on fine motor skills, visual motor, and sensory motor skills.
• Collaborative Consultation: Work closely with teachers, parents, and IEP teams to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom.
• Innovative Intervention: Implement creative, functional treatment plans that utilize available resources in diverse school environments.
• Travel & Exploration: This position requires regular travel throughout Western South Dakota. You’ll see the beauty of the region while providing care to communities that need it most.

What You Bring to the Table

• Credentials: Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program and South Dakota state licensure (or eligibility).
