POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position is responsible for assisting the shift supervisor in completing all assigned tasks in an efficient and effective manner to comply with all quality, safety, and sanitation standards. This position reports to the shift supervisor.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  • Follow all company policies and GMPs
  • Understand and execute food safety and HACCP practices and protocols
  • Perform all tasks as assigned by the plant manager
  • Load semi-trailers
  • Stack bagged product on pallets
  • Perform general sanitation duties
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Detail orientated
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Dependable
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation  
  • Minimum of high school diploma
  • Ability to repeatedly lift from 25 to 70 lbs.  
  • Forklift experience helpful
  • Knowledge of agricultural crops helpful
  • Knowledge of grain cleaning equipment helpful
