Dental Assistant - Infinity Sedation Dentistry

We are seeking a Dental Assistant who is confident in surgical dentistry and values working in a well-established, structured clinical environment. This role supports our doctors directly and contributes to the smooth, efficient operation of a busy practice with long-standing systems and protocols in place.

Key Responsibilities
- Review patient medical histories and document medications, conditions, and alerts; communicate concerns to the doctor in a timely manner
- Prepare and break down operatories and instruments, ensuring accurate and thorough clinical charting
- Provide chairside assistance during dental and surgical procedures
- Capture clear, diagnostic-quality CBCT and panoramic radiographs
- Educate patients on procedures, medications, and comprehensive pre- and post-operative instructions
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain instruments and treatment areas in accordance with infection control standards
- Monitor and maintain clinical inventory to ensure appropriate supply levels
- Provide support to front office staff as needed to promote efficient daily operations
- Anticipate procedural needs and follow established assisting protocols to support an efficient schedule
- Perform basic equipment checks and report maintenance needs to ensure uninterrupted clinical flow
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Solid understanding of dental terminology and clinical workflows
- Experience assisting with implant dentistry, including All-on-Four and overdenture procedures
- Proficient in taking alginate impressions
- Knowledgeable in OSHA regulations and infection control procedures
- Committed to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Skilled in obtaining CBCT and panoramic imaging
- Professional, calm, and patient-focused demeanor
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively in an established clinical environment
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Clear communicator with a positive and professional presence
Qualifications
- Current BLS certification
- Valid dental X-ray certification
- Experience with wax try-ins and locator ring replacement
- Experience with Dentrix software preferred
