• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a CNC machinist program or apprenticeship is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience as a CNC machinist, with proficiency in operating CNC machines and reading technical drawings.
• Knowledge of CNC programming and editing (G-code, M-code).
• Proficiency with measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of safety practices and standards in a machining environment.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
• CNC certification from a recognized institution.
• Experience with advanced CNC machines (e.g., multi-axis CNC machines).
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for CNC programming.
• Experience in the aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing industries is a plus.

Work Environment:
• The position is based in a manufacturing environment, where the CNC machinist will be expected to work on the shop floor.
• Regularly required to stand, lift, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Work may involve exposure to machinery noise, heat, and industrial chemicals, so protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves is required.
