A-1 Auto Recyclers is a locally owned, family-operated business that has proudly served the Rapid City area for more than 50 years. We are seeking a self-motivated Automotive Technician/Dismantler with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent time-management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
Dismantle vehicles and prepare parts for warehouse inventory
Inspect automotive components and evaluate quality and condition
Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow company procedures and safety standards
Qualifications
Automotive repair or mechanical experience required
Must provide own hand and air tools
Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
Able to lift up to 75 pounds
Forklift experience is a plus
