ASSISTANT GRAIN CONTROLLER

Canby Farmers Grain is hiring an Assistant Grain Controller to support our grain and financial operations. You'll work closely with management on grain settlements, financial reporting, reconciliations, inventory, audits, and customer service. This is a great opportunity for someone starting their ag-business career — we'll help you learn the rest.
What you'll do:
Process grain settlements for producers and internal shipments accurately and on time
Maintain grain contract records and support day-end, month-end, and year-end reconciliations
Serve as a primary contact for the grain office; answer producer and internal questions
Verify shipments for quantity, grade, and quality; help maintain Daily Position Reports (DPRs)
Support state/federal audits, financial reporting, and process-improvement projects
Cross-train across grain office functions and support other locations as needed
What we're looking for:
Associate's or bachelor's in Ag Business, Finance, Ag Economics, or related field preferred — or a willingness to learn
Prior grain, merchandising, or ag-business experience a plus
Comfort with Excel/Microsoft Office; familiarity with grain accounting or ERP software helpful
Strong attention to detail and communication; valid driver's license
